The building features 29,000 SF of glass frontage on Market Street, the central atrium section of which is cable-supported for maximum transparency; while the interior offers tall ceilings and large floor plates of up to 40,000 SF, all which create an ideal mix of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.

In order to adapt the historic, four-story reinforced concrete and steel building into a modern performance venue, many alterations and upgrades were necessary, including a full seismic upgrade to the structure, restoration of the main facade on Market Street, and underpinning and excavation to add square footage. The building鈥檚 complete interior remodel provided a live performance theater, box office, lobby, bar/cafe, green room, office space, and flexible space for rehearsals and gatherings. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.

Lorenzo Theater /projects/lorenzo-theater/ Thu, 23 Feb 2023 23:33:23 +0000 /?post_type=projects&p=2747 This project included the preparation for tenant improvements of the existing Lorenzo Theater building, a California Historic Landmark originally built in 1947. The scope of work included seismic strengthening with new steel trusses, restoration of existing base finishes and character-defining features damaged by a large fire, new mechanical and electrical systems, accessibility upgrades, and self-performed specialty shoring for the restoration of the iconic jungle-themed murals, which glow under blacklight. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.

 

黑料吃瓜网入口 is excited to continue its work with the Lorenzo Theater on a new phase of interior reconstruction focused on reconstructing multi-tier seating in the bowl and balcony, accessibility improvements, full MEPF systems, and restoration of key exterior features, including the Marquee, tower sign, and ticket booth.

The theater is designed as a production house intended primarily for local performances, but also serves as a venue for conferences, seminars, corporate meetings, and public events. A park plaza, constructed adjacent to the theater, functions as an informal meeting space and outdoor performance and event area.

Ferry Building /projects/ferry-building/ Fri, 08 Aug 2014 00:30:28 +0000 /?post_type=projects&p=120 Built in 1898, the Ferry Building has long been a symbol of San Francisco鈥檚 historic waterfront.聽In 1998, a public/private redevelopment partnership was formed to rehabilitate the space, and 黑料吃瓜网入口 was chosen as the general contractor. The extensive renovation of the historic structure included the removal of portions of the original second floor structure and all of the modern-era third floor structure in the nave space to create a dramatic, three-story atrium along the entire length of the building.

 

In 2003, the project was completed and the Ferry Building returned as a bustling destination for San Francisco residents and visitors. The vibrant interior marketplace attracts over one million visitors annually, and the second and third floor offices are 100% leased to premier tenants.

Construction involved three historic buildings and adhered to federal historic preservation standards. Work included a glass atrium gallery, restoring the original brick facades, and extensively excavating and underpinning to a depth of 35 feet below grade to create an underground theater and sub-basement. The building’s structural systems were upgraded with a variety of seismic connections interwoven with shotcrete.
